MOZA RS V2 Steering Wheel

$369 In Stock
MOZA RS V2 Steering Wheel

The verdict

A 330mm leather-wrapped round wheel that doubles as MOZA's rally and drift specialist, with twin clutch paddles that justify the step up from the CS V2P.

Best for

  • Serious drift and rally sim racers wanting clutch paddle control
  • MOZA mid-tier builds where the RS V2 pairs well with an R9 or R12
  • Drivers who prefer a round wheel with higher-end materials

Not for

  • Budget builders, the CS V2P covers the basics for less
  • Formula or GT racers who want a shaped rim
  • Console racers, MOZA ecosystem only

What it is

The MOZA RS V2 is a 330mm round wheel that steps up to genuine leather and forged carbon fibre construction at $369. It is MOZA’s mid-range round rim, positioned between the entry CS V2P and the screen-equipped Vision GS. Carbon fibre magnetic paddle shifters, LED RGB rev lights, and compatibility with the full MOZA base range from R3 through R21 via the MOZA Quick Release.

The materials are the headline. Forged carbon fibre for the spokes, aluminium for the frame, genuine leather for the grip. This is not carbon-fibre-look plastic. It is actual forged carbon, with the characteristic marbled pattern.

Who it’s for

Drivers who want a classic round wheel that feels premium without paying Vision GS or Cube Controls money. Rally, drift, touring car, and GT endurance are the natural fits. If you spend most of your time in DiRT Rally 2.0, WRC, or running GT3 endurance stints, a well-built round wheel with good grip and clean shifters is exactly what you need.

In use

The genuine leather grip is immediately noticeable coming from microfibre or TPE alternatives. It is softer, moulds to your hand over time, and absorbs sweat better in longer sessions. The 330mm diameter is standard GT size and feels planted during sustained cornering loads.

The carbon fibre magnetic shifters are excellent. Short throw, positive click, zero play. They match or beat what Fanatec offers on the ClubSport range. The rev light strip works well enough for shift timing, though you are limited to LED colour customisation through Pit House rather than on-wheel configuration.

Where the RS V2 falls short is button count. MOZA’s spec sheet is vague here, and the wheel prioritises clean aesthetics over control density. If you need a dozen mappable buttons for MFD navigation, look elsewhere. This is a driver’s wheel, not a systems manager’s wheel.

What to watch out for

No display. At $369, some competitors (like the Simagic GT Neo) offer at least a basic screen. MOZA clearly sees the Vision GS as the screen tier and keeps the RS V2 pure. Whether that is a feature or a gap depends on how much you value on-wheel telemetry.

Genuine leather needs maintenance. It will darken with use, and if you race without gloves it will get shiny within months. Leather conditioner every few weeks keeps it in shape, but it is work that microfibre does not require.

The MOZA Quick Release on this model is not the Real Racing QR. Check that your base supports it before buying, though broad compatibility with R3 through R21 covers most scenarios.

Verdict

A genuinely premium-feeling round wheel at a mid-range price. The materials justify the step up from the CS V2P. The trade-off is minimal controls and no screen, but if you want a round rim that feels good in your hands above all else, the RS V2 delivers.
